FFI Headlines • We’ve moved! July was a busy month for FFI Headquarters as we moved to a new location at 127 Peachtree Street in the Candler Building. Built in 1906 by the Coca-Cola magnate Asa Candler, this historic office building is a well-known Atlanta landmark. Stop by when you’re in town – we’d love to give you a tour! Contact us. • 2010 World Conference On October 15th we’ll welcome more than 475 Friendship Force ambassadors from 27 countries to Washington, D.C., for our 33rd World Conference. Attendees will learn about new Friendship Force opportunities, discuss leadership strategies and share exciting new ideas at a variety of workshops, plenaries and social gatherings. Many will also participate in post-conference homestays in seven US states and the District of Columbia. • Online Auction The next time you travel, will you stay in an Indonesian palace? Or perhaps a Brazilian beach apartment? Visit friendshipforceauction.org today to bid on exciting travel opportunities donated by Friendship Force leaders and members around the world. Proceeds go to the Legacy Fund. Bidding will close during the conference on October 17, but everyone can participate. • New Policies Our 2011 Club and Exchange Policies are on the Web. We’re looking forward to the future - let’s make it a great year! • Friendship Comes to Argentina Coming up on October 31, fifteen ambassadors led by Vicki Vance will participate in the first ever Friendship Force exchange to Argentina.
